Raghuram PadmanabhuniResearch Lead and Intern Coordinator
Raghuram is a rising Senior at UCLA, studying Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He conducts research on astrocyte cell recovery after traumatic brain injury as well as clinical research in emergency medicine. He is also an EMT, passionate about patient care, and hopes to go to medical school. In his free time, he likes to take care of his two cats, explore LA, watch movies, and surf.

Yiyi ChenResearch Lead
Yiyi Chen is a recent graduate of UCLA, where she earned a B.S. in Neuroscience. At UCLA, she conducted translational and clinical research related to traumatic brain injury and health education. She is currently in her gap year before medical school and her interests lie at the intersection of mental health, nutrition, and health equity. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing guitar.

Siddharth KarthikeyaResearch Lead
Siddharth Karthikeya graduated in 2025 with a Neurobiology degree from UC Irvine. He aspires to be a physician, and his interest in the integral role research plays in shaping medicine has guided much of his academic and clinical work. He is especially interested in clinically oriented neuroscience research, which aligns with his undergraduate studies and prior research experience. Outside of medicine, he is a huge fan of the Dodgers and enjoys learning to make music in his free time.

Talia ParkerResearch Intern
Talia is a junior at Emory University pursuing a B.S. in Biology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of translational medicine and neuroscience, and she is currently investigating histone dopaminylation in glioblastoma. She is passionate about neuro-oncology and the growing role of artificial intelligence and engineering in advancing modern medicine. Her long-term goal is to become a physician-scientist, bridging the gap between laboratory discovery and patient care. Having lived across three countries, her love of exploration extends beyond medicine. She enjoys hiking, trying new foods, and seeking out everything a new corner of the world has to offer.

Thanvi NimmagaddaResearch Intern
Thanvi Nimmagadda is a senior majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is excited to be part of this research team and to continue building her understanding of neuroscience through meaningful experiences. Her long-term goal is to become a physician, and she hopes to use research as a way to better understand patient care, clinical decision-making, and the science behind medicine. In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, reading books, and watching movies. She looks forward to growing as a student researcher, learning from the team, and contributing to projects that connect neuroscience with real-world clinical impact.
