Comments: Dr. Haridas is the reason our 11 year old son is still with us. 4 years ago our Oliver was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Diagnosis to admission to pediatric ICU was 4 hours. 36 hours later Dr. Haridas was removing a massive tumor. Every single step of the way he communicated with us, our pediatrician and he had patience for every question and fear. When he came out of the 9 hour surgery to talk to us it looked like he had run a marathon, but he was so full of joy. He genuinely cared about our son like he was his own. Dr. Haridas instantly became family. From the second we met Dr. Haridas we felt at peace. I hugged him often, which he probably didn’t love, but he tolerated me and treated us as parents with so much respect and love. He became part of our family. A brilliant surgeon and wonderful man. We live in Michigan and Dr. Haridas is now in Florida. If the .1% chance happens and Oliver’s tumor returns we will be on the first flight to Florida. He is the only one we trust with our baby.
